February 3, 2010 The 2010 season is approaching and the Sitko Family Racing team has a tentative schedule (below). Of course, we'd like to see all of our fans join us at as many races as possible!

January 1, 2010 Sitko Family Racing would like to welcome Hyperion Laser Rehabilitation to our racing family. Hyperion will be joining SFR as a major associate sponsor for the 2010 racing season!

December 1, 2009 Sitko Family Racing has been sold to the 3rd generation! Troy and Nathan Sitko are now owners of the Edmonton, Alberta race team. The team will run as it was last year with race crew, driver and car intact.

October 17, 2009 Starting today is the California Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield, California. Nathan Sitko will be competing in the AA\FC class (Nostalgia Nitro Funny Car) with Tim Stevenson's "Tachman" Mustang bodied car. We all wish him good luck!

September 19, 2009 Troy Sitko made two more attempts in the Sitko Family Racing Top Alcohol Funny Car today. The car smoked the tires right off the starting line on the first pass and Troy made it to the 1000' cones on the second run of the day. And that's a rap for the season.

The Sitko Family has been around drag racing for 3 generations now and show no signs of stopping! George Sitko began drag racing in the early 60s and is known as one of the pioneers of the sport. His son, Ken Sitko, began driving dragsters at the age of 16, and now tunes the team's Top Alcohol Funny Car, driven by his son Nathan Sitko. Nathan's older brother Troy is a crew member on the TAFC and drove a Top Alcohol Dragster for two seasons. Also, both of Ken's sons drove junior dragsters. Ken's brother Steve, also drove Top Alcohol Dragster and his son Nicholas now drives a junior dragster.

Nathan and Troy Sitko have big plans in 2010 and plan to make it a banner year for the team. The brothers plan on going for the big fish next spring and have a lot of work to get there over this winter. The team is always on the lookout for sponsors and team members to help them get to the next step and can be contacted through their emails.
